The long-awaited Random Bullet List!Update:
  • I just watched the first episode of The Sopranos. No, really, I've never seen the show before, having no HBO and all. If anyone tells me how the series ends I will kick them in the head. Well, okay, I won't do that, but I won't be a very happy camper. Anyway, I really like it. I knew I would; I'm a sucker ( Read more... )

JEALOUS!

JEALOUS JEALOUS JEALOUS!!!

Sounds like a fantastic trip. *wistful*

Also: I appear to be a hyphen (38% Sociability and 58% Sophistication). Yeah, that works. :-)

I have no definite plans except Stratford, and haven't made reservations yet. It's a seat-of-the-pants trip. Canada needs to brace itself. :)

*bows before your mighty semi-colonness*

How much do I love it that you can be a type of punctuation mark? A lot.

Semicolons are my favourite kind, too. And yay, I can use them in dialogue!

Semicolons saved my academic life. *hearts*

Also, I've used them in dialogue and thought, 'I don't care what people think, that semicolon belongs there,' and now I know I am justified. Yay!

And besides, sometimes you just have to use them. I mean, come on, it's impossible to write Fraser dialogue without them. He even thinks with semicolons (and lots of parenthetical phrases).

I'll be in a. London/Stratford, b. Toronto, and c. Ottawa the last week of July/first week of Aug, with peacey and maybe her sister.

Me too! Well, almost. I'll be in Toronto on the 28th and again on the 5th, and in central Ontario for the time in between.

I think ignazwisdom said she'd be up visiting Toronto around the end of July, too.

We should definitely at least do lunch, or something. peacey is very cool, and we could pimp stuff at her. Dinner would be even better, because yay, booze!

It would have to be dinner, because I'm not leaving DC until 10am on the 28th--nos4a2no9 and I are supposed to meet up in Toronto for some sightseeing and dinner, so maybe then?

I'm actually hoping to get someone to cover my class on the 28th so that I can go up a day early and spend an extra night, but that's still up in the air for now. I haven't even mentioned it to Alexis yet, because I hate to have her make any plans and then have it fall through.

We're pretty open-ended, so keep me posted.

I don't even know when I'm coming back yet. After Ottawa is through with me, I guess.

Well, hey! Supremely flattered, particularly by your rec of Objects in the Rearview Mirror which I've always been proud of, but which hasn't received much attention. Thank you!

Caroline's section made me melt, because it's so heartbreaking and good and because I love her.

I found the stories through del.ico.us, btw. It's a great way to make new discoveries.

1. So few people appreciate the semicolon; it's amazingly useful.

2. too many random things to respond to! Aiiiii!! (Sorry, meds haven't kicked in yet. *deep breath*)

3. OK. Having lived in both Toronto AND London, you'd think I'd have a clue. Unfortunately, all I've come up with so far is the Hockey Hall of Fame, and I doubt that's what you're looking for.

Jays game?

Toronto's got so many cool neighbourhoods, just wandering and people watching for a day or two would be a treat. Will come up with more, I promise.
