*shivers* Okay, just the description of what Connor's been going through with Burton has made me feel all dirty... and not in a good way. That boy's gonna need serious therapy after this! Then to hand him over to the goons again? Cruel beyong measure! I think this might just be the most evil you've even been to him. *narrows eyes at you*.

And yes, Connor was stupid not to realize Burton would subvert any plan he had, but evidently it's worked and thank heavens they've found him. But there's so long a journey to go, and Connor needs to reconcile what he's been through and not shut himself off from the people that love him, especially Abby.

No of course there's the matter of that cliffhanger...

Um... Yeah. That's supposed to feel dirty. But hey look... Abby! LOL! Sorry. I know I'm evil. And yes, this is probably the worse thing I've ever done to him. It's probably the nastiest most complete bunny I've ever had for this sort of thing also. I have to admit, the Mayan story was pretty mean also, but he came out alright in that one, so... The only drawback with this one is that it's about to end and it'll be summer probably, maybe, before I can get to the epilogue fic. At least you there will be an epilogue fic. :-)

Connor, I think, just didn't really care anymore. Abby will help. She's fierce and she won't give up on him. :-) She knows what it's like to lose him now and she's not going to let that happen.

You took a couple of chapters to bring closeure to "Taken", I am wondering how you are going to bring closer here when Conner is much more messed up.

I will eventually be writing a stand alone epilogue fic for this. I'm going to wrap everything up and then continue on later from where this left off. :-)

LOL! That's the best way I've ever heard someone's fear expressed. :-) I guess that means I have you sufficiently worried? :-)

I know, I really put him through it in this one. I'm a mean horrible, evil person. I do like writing suspenseful things. And this was a very suspenseful place to end it.

I, sadly, won't be able to update until the weekend. I'm glad that I have you satisfactorily entangled in my story. That's the best thing I could hear.

That was epic Connor breakage and a great cliffhanger to end on.

Do you like it? I really wanted him broken. Most of the time, I stop before I actually have him break. He always retains something of himself, but I wanted him completely at his end with this one. He's basically on the verge of suicide by the time this chapter occurs. That's why he pushes the button to begin with. He really doesn't care any more. He's got nothing left to give.

This cliff hanger is a little over the top. :-) I'm very pleased with how it reads though.
