Short but sweet! I was just getting into this...

I really like the details you throw about the little things that have changed, like the blanket. You create a nice sense of disorientation and alienation in Nick. I hope you're going to continue with that theme.

Happy you like it :) I was thinking that small changes would be much more difficult to deal with because one would tend to forget about them and constantly be surprised by them. Promise there will be more, even with mention of the blanket :)

That made me think that maybe Nick doesn’t work for the university anymore in this timeline.

It's all in the doors...

Check out their Hilux. In series one the doors had the university logo on them. Now the doors are plain.
