Totally missed last week's challenge, so I'm making up for it with 3 drabbles this week :)

Jenny Lewis was tired.
It had been a long, maddening day in which she’d been frustrated by Cutter when not being annoyed by prehistoric creatures (or Lester). She had a headache, had broken one of her favorite pairs of heels, and wanted little but a glass of wine and a foot rub-although the latter was unfortunately unlikely to happen.
And that was when Connor appeared, all bright eyes and earnest expression, and asked a question that shouldn’t have annoyed her but did, because no one was asking it about her.
“Jenny...what do girls like?”
And she snapped.
“What do girls like?” she repeated, in a tone of voice that even Connor recognized as a warning.
“Y’know, it’s alright, I’ll come back-“
“Girls,” Jenny put her hands flat on the table and pushed herself to her feet, “like honesty. If you like a girl, tell her. If you don’t, tell her.” She stalks towards him, and Connor backs up in to a shelf with an expression very near terror. “Don’t be cryptic. Don’t compliment a girl and then turn her down for a drink because it makes her cranky.”
“And above all, don’t call her another woman’s name!”
“Jenny Lewis.”
She pauses, takes a deep breath, and gives him her brightest, most professional, terribly fake smile as she turns around,
“Professor Cutter. What can I do for you?”
“You seem to have terrified Connor-not that it’s especially difficult-who unsubtly suggested that you might enjoy a night out.”
She raises an eyebrow in surprise, “Connor suggested?”
Cutter nods, amused, “He may also have implied that I’m an idiot. So. Would you care to join me for a drink?”
Her expression softens in to a real smile and she takes his arm,
“I would love to.”
