Cue the dramatic music.

It's one of those days that the Kraken is apparently feeling appropriotely dramatic. You can practically picture the dramatic music to go with, as tentacles launch themselves from the water with a great and mighty splash and waves to be sent about ( Read more... )

Courtney sometimes likes to wander down to a spot near the moat to watch the Kraken eat sheep, often with Djehutymes, but sometimes on her own, as well. Today she waits for a long time, watching the sheep graze peacefully. A long, long time.

Huh. Kraken's not hungry?

Cautiously she walks down to the water and peeps in. She can't remember if this is breaking a school rule or not but anticipates trouble if she's caught regardless.

"Um. Anybody home?"

Because the moat--much like the school itself--follows wizarding and a little Nexus logic, it's more massive within than it may appear without.

And so far, there's no response. Just calm, serene water, and possibly the flock of ducks that Kurt brought a whiiile back way over there.

But there is no gigantic eye, there is no booming sound of response.

...

In fact, that's probably the most worrying part, the fact that it is quiet.

That can't be right. Courtney sits on the edge and frowns. What'd they do, take the Kraken to the dry cleaners?

Well...maybe there's some way it can swim out to sea from the moat. That'd make sense.

Well, there is, but a three foot long Kraken wouldn't last long in the mighty Nexus Seas.

Wait.

There's something

"Hoooooooooooooooooooooooom!" Tentacles are flailing about aggrevatingly, there should be water splashing and being flung everywhere!

IT SHOULD BE HUGE.

But it is no longer perfection.

halp ;-;

"Awh, lookit. So cute!" Savvy pets a sheep, wandering blissfully by the water's edge.

Which is strangely serene for this time of day.

How odd.
