[open to Kurtlet, or anyone really]

Gabriel is in his classroom, puttering around on a laptop. He's looking for furniture (a few beds at least) for the cottage. He doesn't have much to move, but he can get some new things, by god. After a while he sidetracks to amazon.com, indulging in other people's creativity ( Read more... )

It is not a Kurtlet. It is an entirely non-blue, non-fuzzy, tall youngster knocking on the classroom door!

"Hm?" He looks up from a particularly delicious set of volumes of Modern Hindu poetry.

"Oh, come in."

The non-Kurtlet lets himself in and then hesitates by the door. "Excuse me, sir, are you Mister Grey? Or--" He checks a slip of paper. "Or Mister...von Chriek? I'm supposed to be starting in the photography class; I just wanted to make sure I'd found the right room...?"

It's a very Oxford accent.

Gabriel's is a very Liverpuddlian accent. Quite the contrast.

"Mr. Grey, aye. That's me. Otto... er, Mr. von Cheriek has taken over the major teaching duties, but I'm still consulting."

Easy, open smile.

Here is someone else who is not a Kurtlet. Sarah pauses in the classroom's doorway, watching Gabriel for a few moments before gently clearing her throat. When he looks up, he'll see her smiling warmly, but understanding if he doesn't really feel like talking right now.

Gabe is just logging off the laptop and closing it when he finally notices his guest.

"Oh! Sorry... how long were you standing there?"

Now he's turning red. Shh, it's what he does.

"Not very long," she reassures him. "I just didn't want to interrupt whatever you were doing." Online shopping is Serious Business. She wanders into the classroom. "How're you doing, Gabriel?" She hesitates a moment, then adds, "I haven't been in the Nexus since... well, I haven't passed through lately, but I saw your question online. I'm sorry your friend is missing."

"I was just looking for furniture. Can you believe what they want people to pay for a sofa? Shows how long it's been since I've went shopping." Oh Yes. His wife did all the shopping.

"Oh, I'm all right." Liar. "I'm still looking, but it seems that the nexus won't be much help."

It's still grey morning when Kurt makes his way to the photography classroom. He doesn't expect Gabriel to be up, but then he should know better.

"Hallo." Kurt's been sleeping fitfully as well. Some's always been a grounding presence in his life, and he feels adrift without his friend period. Add to that the fact that he's of course worried sick about him, and the moments since he learned what had happened with his friend had been a blur.

((will be around verrrrry little, but we can at least start! <3 ))

"Hullo, Kurt." Tired smile. He's switched from computer to book by now. Poetry of some sort. "There's tea in the samovar, and biscuits if you'd like." Gesturing behind him. The usual dressing screen is gone, making the couch and the fridge with the samovar sitting atop it visible.

((I'm getting ready to crash, but YIS we can start. :D ))
