Re: I don't know the fandomprillalarSeptember 13 2006, 05:47:05 UTC
Aw, thanks. :) Two fandoms here -- basketball boys bookended by tennis boys. I'm trying to write some actual fic with real conflicts and half a plot but this song keeps hijacking my brain and making me just want to skip to the happy endings.
Unfortunately I can't do 100 words of anything anymore. One really really short dream scene I had a few weeks ago is now 3000+ words of fic... still going on. Oh.my.god. My plot bunnies mutate like whoa. I actually do have a scene in my Dream-spawned fic of Inui looking out the window, watching Kaidoh leave but............. um yes *won't spoil*
Don't have much time to be on the computer, unfortunately. It makes me think of your post about reading fanfic when they are posted at a certain time. I wouldn't have been able to read yours unless it was just posted before I arrived at work ;)
Managed to miss this the first time around, so Im commenting a bit late now that I've found this through your round up post XP I am completely sick so I hope this is actually coherent...
The AkuTaka one gave me a tiny little heartache (thats, uh, a good thing) because of how sweet yet a little painfull it was. Id love to just keep on reading about them in that partilcular ficverse... especially the way you wrote Kawamura, because in fandom you see Akutsu and his tough!denial!love a lot, but you rarely see Kawamura taken seriously as a character. Even though it was short, the little details like him needing a haircut just made me go <3
Long story short: thanks for writing this, and thanks for sharing ^_^
I'm so glad you liked the AkuTaka! I've been thinking about Kawamura more and more these days. He's such an interesting character but he always gets shoved off to the side, poor boy.
i treat this mitko drabble as a sequel to your painful breakup fic. mitsui accepts the offer to work for kogure's uncle and kogure goes off to school, but they snap back together at times like stretched-out rubber bands.
