So bookshop started the Pillar Pair Revolution for all manner of TezuRyo goodness. You should really check it out. Especially this piece by zauberer_sirin. I said I didn't have time to write, so I did some crack screencap edits.

I've never even *watched* Prince of Tennis in my life, but gah this fic is so good. Lately I've been thinking about writing a post about how I've never found a really short fic that I liked, but this - wow. This is every bit as potent as something ten times its length.

Tezuka buys tickets to a movie and they sit in the dark, twisting away from the screen, kissing until Tezuka's jaw is sore and Ryoma's lips are swollen. Tezuka can't keep his hands off Ryoma and so he doesn't. Ryoma leans into the touch, puts his hand on Tezuka's thigh, knocks his popcorn all over the floor.

God, I think this is my favourite paragraph in anything I've read in *months*.

Wow, this is amazing to hear. Thank you so much! It means a lot to me to know this worked so well for you, especially when it's so short and with characters you don't know.

There's something about these two that just makes for very stripped down prose. They don't speak with each other much in canon, just are silent a lot of the time. So I've been working to capture that dynamic in the fic.

I just started reading PoT and Tezuka's my favorite character so far ... Yay, TezuRyo ^_^ Great ficlet, I really enjoyed reading this. It's short, but you manage to put very much meaning into those few words ;) Well done!
