Are you sure they weren't just being rude to you? I don't think food, prepared by following the instructions, can cause someone to pass out.

You just need some more practice, that's all. I'm sure it'll come out much better next time. Maybe you could ask the cooks at the Inn for lessons?

And let someone else do the taste testing. I wonder if Shadows would be good guinea pigs?
