Last night I talked to my former best friend. Not former because we fought but former because we grew apart in high school and I later moved to Arizona. It started out as a normal conversation. I've never been in that situation thankfully, but I'd say just tell her to get the hell out of there ASAP. She shouldn't have to deal with that. If he's really the violent sort, then the faster she gets out the better. Staying in that situation is NOT an option. Tell her that. Let her know you care and that you're scared for her. Maybe that will help her decide.
I don't know if that helps at all, but I can't stand to think of any guy beating a woman just 'cause he can. It's not right and no woman should have to be in that situation EVER.

Thanks for your advice. And I agree. No one should ever have to be in that situation. >.< Its just terrible.
