That was a bit of a problem for me, getting their language just right. I didn't want it to be a medieval-type of formal, but I wasn't about to add informal slang or Ebonics. I thought I did alright with their language, but I will take more time to look at it more in depth with the next fic I write with them, because of your comment.

It's been ages since I've read LOTR fanfic, so this was a real treat. :) I love the way you've depicted the quiet nuances of their relationship, and it's wonderful to see elvish included in their dialogue! Oh, I've missed this... Thanks for sharing it with us!

You're welcome, and thank you for the positive feedback! I'm really big on things like nuances, quirks, and neuroticisms in my characters' personalities, but especially in things like relationships. The Elvish language is full of win, so I had to include it!
