40 RENT Icons!

Hey, everyone! I wanted to share some RENT icons that I made. This is the first time for me to make and share icons with anyone. Normally, I’ll only make a couple for myself. I do plan on making more icons. This was just all I got done tonight. Anyway, enjoy them, and feedback is love!

first of all, great job. where did you get the font you used for #028? and did you use photoshop? because I always wonder how people manage to make their icons that good, I wish I had photoshop.
there was something else I wanted to say... oh,yeah. I think these gap between the preview and the actual icons is due to the lyrics of 'la vie bohéme'. It's not that bad though.

The font of #028 is called 'harrison' and I downloaded it from fontparade.com. I actually edited my entry to include that note about front where I got the fonts. I've actually just uploaded the font to sendspace, so if you would like to download it here is the link.

Yes, I used Photoshop 7.0 to make the icons.

I tried getting rid of the lyrics last night, and the gap was still there, but I can try again or try something else. Well, from an outside point of view, I'm glad that it's not that bad.

If you have any kind of pretty scripty font that you could send me, that would be nice.

Also, as for the Photoshop, I got it from a friend, so it didn't cost me anything...but from my friend who bought it, yeah, it was a couple hundred dollars for her.

Hello, I drifted in from google. Nice icons! I'm having the same problem too. The huge, ugly gap. :(
I don't know why, and it's bothering me. If you're able to fix the problem, tell me!

Wow, I didn't even think of people being able to find me through Google. As soon as I read your reply, I went and searched myself on Google, and found that I'm on the third page of search results. I was stunned!

Anyway, I fixed the gap problem, but I had to re-type all the HTML coding for the table. If you'd like for me to send you the generic coding, I can.
