How are they considered dangerous? Or, rather, for what reason am I to take your and Hughes' words over his own?

How private ought I to keep it? I have no qualms in keeping it entirely confidential, however, if you would like it even more so, perhaps changing the setting on this lock would be wiser.

Bradley has stated that he has enhanced strength-is that an effect of the stone? Have they other abilities-advanced healing, what have you?

Entirely confidential for now would be the best option. People have been killed over this information before.

Yeah, it is. Enhanced strength, regenerative capacities -- most of them have other abilities. Shapeshifting, being able to change parts of their bodies into weapons, things like that.

Officer Hughes mentioned the same, in retrospect. "If I die, that will be the cause..." or something as dramatic. I admit to dismissing it.

Shapeshifting... [ ... ] If that is the case, your picture is rather useless.

... That's the basics of what happened. Yeah.

Only the palm tree-looking guy is capable of shapeshifting, and even then -- if they ended up here, I doubt they'd be able to use their abilities with the chips in.

It is not just an example?

And then when he got it out, it would be nearly impossible to find him, would it not?

Their powers vary from one to another, then...

Much as I hate to say it, it's not.

Right. And besides that, he'd be able to make himself look like anyone, too.

[...] Basically, yeah, aside from being difficult to kill and having fast regenerative properties. The palm tree head -- Envy. He's a shapeshifter. The woman is Lust, she can turn her hands into lances. And Gluttony...eats things. Anything.

...

In my world, there are those who can sense the "essence" of a person or thing, and so track them. I know of one officer on the police with this power as well- however, in this case, it is still speculation. He is not here.

... And, neither are they.

[ ... ] May I ask how you became the enemy of so many powerful individuals?

There's a guy here who can sense people like that, too...and Maka probably could, come to think of it.

Good point. I'm hoping it stays that way, but when the Scientists suddenly start bringing in a mass of people from my world... Figured I'd at least attempt to be prepared. Just in case, I guess.

[...] I'm a State Alchemist back home. Part of the military. These guys pretty much run the country, which means they need the military for something.

Do you believe this would work on them?

I will not disregard or forget this, preemptive as it may be. I would not be very good at my job if I forgot things so easily.

... Besides defense of the country, you mean?

It has before, in Ling's case... For Maka, I wouldn't be surprised. Pretty unusual ability, in her case.

Thanks. And besides, if they show up and I'm not here or something...could be trouble.

Yeah. Even I'm not so sure yet...but it's something they need me alive for, along with the military. Everyone else, not so much.

It seems an unusual ability in general, unless you refer to something different.

It is nothing to thank me over.

A war?

I'm not sure if we're talking about the same ability, really, but in this case maybe there are more ways than one to sense things like that.

They've started wars over it before, but -- as long as I'm here, I won't be able to get to the bottom of what they're up to.

It seems likely. Or, no less unlikely than any of the other things here.

Mm. It was a matter of curiosity, really. As well, if they show up, to know their motivations and goals is somewhat key.

Not a bad way to put it.

I see. Same with the Fuhrer and Selim -- their goals seem to be mostly back in my country. And Envy and Lust can at least attempt to blend in. Gluttony...might be a problem, if he starts wanting to eat people.

Which of course goes back to the question of, if without the goals of your country, will they really have reason to commit crimes, here.
