YES! More Naveen-reaction-plot-stuff! This made my day.
Wonderful interaction between Greg and Naveen. Not to mention that the sex, as usual, was smoking hot. Thank you for this! Can hardly wait for the session with Sawyer (though I'm a little scared that the two fools shall manage to mess things up terribly *sigh*)
Well, it's not the kink exactly, it's just that he hasn't felt like this before. I mean, the only real relationships he's been in were the relationship of Dom and sub (whichever side he was on), and after the contract was up, he's simply moved on and been fine with it. Like he's said, he wasn't close to his family at all. And the closest thing he's ever had to a true friendship is what he has with Marton.
He truly does not believe he's capable of deeper feelings. So this--Josh--confuses the hell out of him.
But while those four fools were in all sorts of love, none could compare to what Naveen felt for Sawyer. He didn't want to be courted. He wanted to fully train Joshua to attend to his every need and sexual whim. He didn't want sweet nothings. He wanted to hear Sawyer scream out in pain and pleasure. No, whatever he was feeling, it wasn't love.
He thinks love is a certain kind of hearts and flowers, but what it really is is a deep connection with someone, whatever form that takes. Sawyer's hooked deeply into him and yeah, he's confused!
The change of topic to Marton and Greg's roommate made Naveen's face soften. "Maybe that's because Craig's the only one who doesn't have deeper entanglements?"
I loved getting the glimpse into Naveen's head that this chapter provided. I really adore this character you've created, particularly his incongruous naivete when it comes to matters of the heart. I find that both sad and charming.
And now I wonder what Naveen will do with the insight into Sawyer that Greg provided. I'm looking forward to seeing how all of this plays out between them when next they meet.
*blushes up a storm* Thank you for the lovely comment! It always pleases me to no end that you like the characters we've created in this world, especially this Naveen.
As for his and Sawyer's next session... only time can tell, but I can say it's probably a good bet that what Greg said will somehow influence what they say and do! *winks*
I love all that emotion left unacknowledged here. I wish there was someone who'd confront Naveen (and Josh about) it, make them see what's obvious to everyone but them using small, blunt words, but I'm guessing things won't be that easy. It makes me wonder why Naveen even refuses to believe that it might be love.
I mean, there's got to be a reason, right? Is Naveen afraid of being left behind, forgotten and drunk like Doctor Jack? I'm not buying his excuses that Sawyer isn't capable of love. There's got to be something deeper here and I can't wait to find out more.
Oh yes, they definitely need someone to speak to them (or kick them!) if they can't work things out soon! Keep watching though - there is definitely more of interest coming soon! ;-)
Poor Naveen. The silly ass needs to stop trying to control every little thing. Greg is just a doll, all around. The sweetest thing.
How does one become convinced that they don't possess the ability to love? Stupid notions of battling dragons over-riding the day-to-day acts of living? More good tales will be on the way I'm sure.
And yet he's found a home, with people he trusts a lot, Marton & Lady Heather. Surely he can see that friendship is a form of love? One that actually requires more trust, as it stands on the bond itself, nothing more.

The session with Sawyer *sigh* could be interesting now... and Sawyer says to tell you there's nothing to mess up *huffs*

Marg is highly amused! "The two fools" should be your first clue on how they'll handle their next session.
(She also rolls her eyes at glarey-face from Sawyer/Josh)
