Excellent. A bit chilling and perfectly in-character.

Kate is so difficult to work out. She doesn't...talk about what's bothering her. She's a very physical woman. In place of working out what she wants or needs, she often times jumped Jack or Sawyer. It got dizzying.

So I could definitely see her fucking Ben just to prevent him from disturbing whatever little life she's made for herself post-island.

Every word of this is gorgeous but this:

is stunning. I love this so much. It's dark and depressing and desperate and a little creepy, in a way, as this pairing just is. Justifying Ben/Kate seems like it would be difficult, but you do it well and it's so addicting. Thank you so much for this wonderful piece!

I've been meaning to try out Ben/Kate, even though it really frightens me because they seem like very intimidating characters to write. Are going to be queen at some point for the Luau, and request something that would give me an excuse to write Ben/Kate? 'Cause that would be awesome.

I am going to be queen, yes. July 26th. My prompt is going to be...not pairing specific. I was going to force everyone to give me Ben/Ilana, but I decided to be a kinder queen. But you will definitely get a chance to write them on my day if you wish.

Don't be intimidated by them! You only get better at writing characters or learn to write them by trying, and you've got a lot of good stuff. I know I enjoy the things you write a lot! I'm sure Ben/Kate would be a cinch for you. :)
