Sawyer can’t make things better.
He tries, with good, sturdy hands that she could believe in if this were some other life. I wanna fix this. Kate nods because he’s a decent man, a good father for Aaron, her rock since Claire disappeared.
But nothing can be the same.
The scars that reflect in the mirror don’t vanish when she looks at her body. It’s the ones that are etched in her ribs she can’t see, but feels all the same.
We can fix this.
