It's actually not bothering me. Apparently I have reached an age where going out into bad weather and treacherous conditions feels annoying rather than challenging

For me, the solid "weirdly grown up" moment was buying my first house. But I quite agree that having dinnerware in a display case is an equal contender!

Well, it is actually an apartment. With Seattle prices an actual house is too much to pay for.
