According to other folks, Cheyenne had a virus that imitated heart failure. He should be okay, eventually.

The kid, on the other hand, has been moved to ICU and his dad is being checked as a liver donor. I've promised his mom soft tissues. I'll probably bring her some food too, although I don't know if she will eat it.

Try and see that she eats. Comfort food. Might ask what comfort food is for her; for different folk it's different things. (Me, grilled cheese and Campbell's Red Label Chicken Noodle; for another friend, miso soup...) Can't force it, obviously, but if you get her thinking in that direction it might help.
