They still don't know what is wrong with Cheyenne, but they are having to drain excess fluid from his lungs and his body generally

I know the VA is taking at least somewhat decent care of quite a number of friends of mine. Said friends seem to have to take a rather active role in their healthcare, but frankly I think you ought to do that even if you've got the best doc in the world...

They'd been posted to Germany for several years, where you do have to be proactive to get treated, so they know how to work that aspect of things.

I do agree that everyone should be proactive in their own care. After all, doctors are human.
