i wonder which is worse:
to be in a relationship with someone who feels things that aren't there...
or to be with someone who chooses not to feel anything at all.

Lesser of 2 evils anonymous December 29 2004, 14:15:57 UTC
Neither one of these options is something I would wish on you because they are both lose - lose situations. When your partner has feelings that dont exist first you feel guilt and maybe a lil remorse that you cant or dont want to return the feelings. Then something even worse happens...you get annoyed with the other person. Annoyed with their phony unrelenting feelings. The only thing left after that is resentment, resentment who you cared about not that long ago. But hey then again ignorance is bliss...but I dont think thats something you would subscribe too. Your to level headed and strong.
Personally though I think that a partner who has no feelings is far worse. You have a ocean of feelings for this person yet they feel nothing. You begin to crumble emotionally and then even your esteem is shot. Like I said though its the lesser of 2 evils, I hope you arent in either of these situations, but if you are think with both your heart and your head. Best of luck....
