And last night I was trying to put my finger on exactly why, because in general I loathe anything to do with Idol thanks to our local version which is basically just a soapbox on which racist/sexist/homophobic radio host Kyle Sandilands can be any of those three

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS POST. A month ago, I would have been embarrassed, almost shamefully admitting that, but I have no such reservations admitting this now. This is what this show has reduced me to D:

What I like about Gokey being gone from the competition is that now I don't really mind who wins. Either way, I'm going to be happy or satisfied. They matched up their polished finger nails like puzzle pieces, FFS. What's not to love about that? At least I don't have to spend Wednesday night, sitting by anxiously over who wins. Thank god, because I was kind of a mess last week. Anyway, A+ POST.
