OH MY GOD HOW IS THERE NO VEGEMITE WHATSOEVER IN THIS HOUSE RIGHT NOW?!??!?!?! WORST MORNING EVER.

In other news, for some reason I'm into vampires again. Non-sparkly ones, of course. I rewatched Interview with the Vampire the other day, followed immediately by Queen of the Damned (which is terrible but IDK I like Marius and there was unexpected! ( Read more... )

tv: true blood, ship: moony/padfoot (canon in the films), tv, people: gary oldman

You should watch The Hunger then! I mean, vampires + David Bowie. It really couldn't have gone wrong - and it didn't.

HAHA YOU'RE RIGHT! They are my biggest otp ever, omfg.

OOH. David Bowie + Vampires? YES PLEASE. Totally on that now.

aljsf I know. But it made me sad browsing OotP caps too because the ones at the end tear me apart. D: David Thewlis's face when he's holding back Harry BREAKS ME into a thousand little pieces.

Hahah I LOVE THAT YOU GUYS LIKE VEGEMITE. It's pretty awesome. I was having a discussion the other day with a friend who doesn't like it, and I put that down to her not being born here and thus not introduced at a young age but YOU TWO DEFY MY FINDINGS. :D

Hahahahahahhah and Lena Olin! In my Alias days that excited me quite a bit.

OMG WHUT??? WHERE? I don't remember him in that. Probably because I blocked out seeing that movie. But IMDB does not lie.

I thought the True Blood leaked pilot was pretty interesting; I have no knowledge of the books or anything, but I was intrigued enough to want to see the actual series.

*sends you Vegemite from mah apartment, because I have some even though I am in New York I love it that much*

Heee, he's that dude from the Watcher's Council the Talamascans (?) who's obsessed with tracking down Marius? I spent the movie pretending he was a fob-watched Eight, and then getting excited about the EXCITING RUMOURS of an Eight return in the 2008 specials.

He's in this bit starting at 2:42 if you want to witness his velvety voice being the one redeeming feature amongst all the fail. Haha.

And I am so going out to get some vegemite now.

Hahaha ummmm it tastes like vegemite? Haha. It's hard to describe. Kind of.... salty spreadable beer? IDK, IDK. All I know is that it's delicious and has so much vitamin B that you get like 80% of your daily intake from 5 grams or something.

But non-Aussies tend to find it disgusting, which I can understand. ALL THE MORE FOR US.

Salty spreadable beer, lmao. I really want to try it though. But is it like a breakfast food or just an anytime thing?

I'M GONNA FIND SOME AND TRY IT, MARK MY WORDS!!!!!!

omg and Gary Oldman's stache in OotP is something to behold. ~*~mOoNy/PaDfOoT OTP 4 lyfe~*~

It's an anytime thing! Except... it's best very lightly spread on toast for breakfast with heaps of butter. If you do try it, don't spread it thickly, it's not like peanut butter or something hahaha.

I bet he twirls the stache when he's feeling bored, haha. He's like, the king of movie facial hair.

Do you have Marmite in Aussie? (Do you prefer Vegemite?)

'A gay bar run by vampires' sounds like the sort of plot idea one comes up with very late at night after a lot of alcohol and/or general silliness. Sounds hilarious at the time, but then later...

Speaking of vampires, I've always been curious to see Blood and Chocolate. Hugh Dancy is pretty.

Ewwwwwwww Marmite. Do not speak its name. (In answer to your question, yes and yes. Haha.)

Oooooooooh, I've got a huge cush on Hugh Dancy thanks to the Jane Austen Book Club so I'll definitely be checking that out! :D

Who invented Marmite? Was it us or you?

You'll have to tell me what it's like! I'm still a bit wary of vampires on film (though I'll make an exception for Twilight) because the whole sucking blood thing icks me out to actually see, though I can handle references to it?
