It's not that I did the sn_exchange or anything, or that I made this in time to matter for that, anyway, and the only thing that can come of it is people start recognizing my kink meme entries, but underhandy did it, and it looks cool, so, uh... yeah. (I am so easily swayed into doing things.)

We are like-polar opposites when it comes to writing. I think the only things we do similar are centering the scene breaks (I do it with two dash, not three, so Word doesn’t automatically turn it into a line), and the use of italics for emphasis (which is also why I hate LJs messaging system… fucker won’t let me format and askd;jfakljf;ls love my formatting)

I don’t get it: how can you write a story without ~*dramu*~?

I think it's cause her stories usually have a lot to do with AMUSEMENT. As in. I am usually amused.

I think I write a little more drama than you. But yeah, not much XDDD. I too am surprised I have survived this long. I had to pull out the big guns and start writing a highschool fic to compensate.

You should try the exchange in the summer round! it's hella fun, especially when they start posting! It's weird to see how your fics get received when no one knows if it's YOU writing them. This year everyone's reaction to me was "YOU wrote that? IT'S REALLY GOOD." me: ........... I'm insulted, btw.

I plan to join the summer exchange, for sure. The reason I didn't do the winter one was because I didn't know about it until 1 month before they were due, because that's just when I happened to join the SN comm, and I had already signed up for the TWEWY one, rather late, too. D:

I started my S/N career with high school AU. Figured I might as well get it out of the way as soon as possible. XD

W-well, it didn't sound as much like you as it should have! And it WAS really good! The awesomeness was not the surprising part, just--um-- I don't even know. Tabula Rasa was cool, okay?

I looked through the settings until I fixed the autolinebreak maker thing. BECAUSE I HATE LINEBREAKS.

I mean, there's nothing wrong with using them--some people are perfectly capable of managing it. I am not one of those people. They always malfunction on me, and I don't know the html to use on on LJ, anyway, so. Fuck linebreaks. Hard.

XD It's like magic. But better. (I'm not really sure--drama and I just don't see each other often, and when we do, she's usually too busy punching me in the face for me to write about it. D: )

Thanks! I'm going partly on what other people say--I didn't notice how much I did daily life and understatement until it was pointed out to me, but I am aware that it's there on some level. (I did write it, after all.) This was not actually as easy as underhandy made it look. >.>

XD Drawing porn seems like it would be easier than writing it, to me. Well--I mean, not really for me because my art talents are all in coloring (preferably with pens or colored pencils, although I have a ridiculous number of crayons), and SO FUCKING FAR from being able to draw people, but in general, because using people or pictures for reference sounds easier than hours of racking up PWPs online.

N-not that I spend hours racking up PWP links or anything. >.>;; You know, if any of my RL friends ever find this journal I am never going to be able to look them in the eye again. Just sayin'. /digs self deeper.

and i think, since we're writing GAY PORN, the best thing to do is not MENTION you're a virgin. It's kinda like when an author claims English isn't their first language. until then, everything seems fine, but once you KNOW, you start to notice all the perfectly acceptable things that suddenly stick out.
