This fandom makes me want to write ALL the pairings - Harry/Liam/Louis, Liam/Zayn, Harry/Niall! It's so weird after coming from bandom where I only ever really wanted Brendon/Spencer.

Right! I was the same in bandom, I just wanted to read about Brendon/Spencer. It's kind of strange but also a lot of fun to be this open to all kinds of pairings in this fandom.

Okay, I listened to this before work but I didn't have time to comment because I needed Starbucks >.>

Anyway! I'm so glad we finally got to meet! And like, I feel you on the whole "feeling welcomed" thing. But I think it's because everyone is so new and everything is so new and there are so many feelings!!! Whereas I think a lot of those FEELINGS were over in bandom by the time they split in 09. Bandom got all jaded and bitter and everyone just stuck to the people they already knew. But, the Houston weekend was hella fun and I'm so glad you came and put up with me being mean about your OTP. I really want you to come to Vegas. :( :( :(

You make a really good point on the 'everyone was jaded and bitter' re: bandom. I came in basically second wave there and yeah, everyone had really kind of settled into the niches they were in.

ahahahahahahaha, I loved it, ngl. It's just really, ridiculously nice that we can all talk about what we like (and don't like) without it being a shitstorm of hurt feelings and crap. I had so much fun, it wasn't even funny.

...I am seriously, seriously considering the Vegas trip. Ugh.
