1. Not as epic an opening as last season.

2. Carice van Houten is PERFECT.

3. Makeup department needs to lay off the guyliner.

I just recently mainlined the first season and have not read any of the series. While I did enjoy the episode a lot, I was a tad underwhelmed.

Yeah, this episode didn't really do it for me, but the second book takes a while to get going as well. We still have one of my favorite POVs from last season, plus one of the best "new" ones, that have yet to be introduced, so hopefully it will pick up next ep.
