I've been largely silent on Deathly Hallows so far, partly because I'm busy (with stuff which should be posted shortly) but partly because it's hard to find the words. So I'll start with this meme.

Oh, I'm with you on Hedwig's death. I think you chose a different reading spot right before I got to that part which was good as I was sobbing my little heart out.

I hadn't figured out Snape's patronus until the Silver Doe chapter, and I'm impressed that you did!

I left my book at Farfelu, and so Kristin has my copy. I'm dying to re-read!

Ohh, i only just finished DH because I was rereading all 6, an idea I got from you! Didn't leave myself enough time, though. I was still in Goblet of Fire the night of the book release.

I like both the Potter pieces you've put up so far, but I have to say that's not how I imagine the snitch cake - I'm thinking a spherical sculptural cake covered in fondant and gold dust, with edible spun sugar wings. Tasty!

I started the series on July 3rd, and just barely had enough time! My mom's doing the same and has just started HBP, so it's been hard keeping all the spoilers from her.

And thanks for the art compliments! The picture of Harry's birthday is actually one I did last summer, for TLC's July 31st post. I should add a snitch cake to my predictions gone right, though I definitely see it more like you described! I totally want one.
