Ouch. Nicely done though -- and probably closer to canon than anything I'll ever write. :)

I love this:

Happy? Well of course she’s fucking happy. Elle’s quite aware of the difference between being dead and being alive, and aware of which side is better to land on. It's very good internal Elle monologue.

The end kills in a good way.

I really enjoyed this and it actually is pretty dead on (okay, unintentional pun) for Elle's character. I can see her being angry and pissed off at him for doing what he did.

And while it's not quite a happy ending, it's certainly better than what Kring & Co. are trying to pull on us.

I like it. It has just the right combination of loathing and lust and self-doubt for this messed up couple.

This really feels like how canon ought to go, whether or not it actually does.

This is totally, totally great.

I love your grasp on how to view Sylar's character, most especially: "For making her believe he could be a man, a good man, and not a little boy forever looking for approval. For making her heart believe that maybe she could love this man. For letting the people around him manipulate and use him for their own goals."

I really liked this. Though I admit, the romantic part of me was hoping he'd run after her and kiss her. But... *shrug*
