Question:

Which edition of The Princess Bride should I buy? The Buttercup Edition or The Dread Pirate Edition?

Both have the same features only different boxes.

I hope you are okay with the fact that I A) rolled my eyes B) laughed and C) said aloud "DORK!"

:) THis is why the marketing portion of the movie industry is evil. They know that there are folks out there who will buy both versions on the same thing....Don't do it. Go pirate!

I would never buy both. In fact this very reason is why I haven't bought it on DVD before since I knew the company would come out with something like this. I'm a complete dork but not that dorky.

I was leaning toward the Pirate one. Come on, it's pirates. Nothing better than a pirate, except two pirates. Or maybe a ninja pirate.

Ooh ninja pirate.
This is why I hate all this Star Wars shit. I love Star wars, don't get me wrong. But all these different versions of the movies coming out just makes me angry. The true dorky dorks are going to buy every single version there is. It just smacks of money gouging.

Cameron movies are just as bad. There's like three versions of T2 and Aliens.

Bastards.

Of course, it's evil. Just ask George Lucas. There will be at least 9 gajillion versions of Star Wars by the time he kicks the bucket. And all of the hard core freakies will buy each and every one.
