i can't wait to live somewhere with a nice kitchen. this house (the housesitting house) has a really modern thing going... marble counters, new appliances, good lighting... it makes cooking *fun.* like, instead of wanting to be somewhere else, i'm perfectly happy hanging out in the kitchen, cooking and being social online and stuff

haha well, unfortunately, i didn't make the carrot cake. i *can* make carrot cake, but the market down the street has their own, which is really good, and i was tired so... pre-made ftw. but yes, i normally prefer to bake my own stuff.
