jflkdjafdj I wondered if it was Chuck, somehow. Laughing at how direct the Gabriel reveal was, though. Very much his style. Great job on his voice, by the way; I was pretty sure I knew who he was just from that, dropped hints aside.
The bit about John returning to Ellen with news was absolutely gutting. I choked up, not going to lie.
The idea of John getting hold of Chuck's manuscripts was one of the things that started me down this whole path. Gabriel, oddly enough, didn't work his way into the story until late in the planning stages. Now, of course, I can't imagine this story without him.
Poor Ellen. I'm glad to know that scene had an impact (it feels weird to be glad that someone feels gutted).
I couldn't resist adding that line for Bobby--I enjoy writing humor as much as I do writing the serious stuff.
I like that this is coming together in a strange, odd way.
Thank you! Working out the plot for this thing was a lot of fun, but it was also challenging, so I'm glad to hear it's holding together. The missing pieces you mention were what prompted this whole story in the first place, along with the idea of John getting his hands on some of Chuck's writing.

I felt so bad about John and Bill - but your take on it sounds likely. You've done a great job filling in the missing pieces.
I love Bobby yelling at Dean...it kinda cracked me up.
