A few years ago, it seemed like half of my friends were being slapped with C&D letters and I felt completely useless, not knowing what to do. I'm glad someone put this together - it'll certainly prove helpful to someone in the future! Hopefully no one I know, but I wouldn't count on that...

This was never a problem until Indy IV came out (he even got "good stuff!" emails from some of Lucas's prop makers). He got a C&D order from Lucasfilm (I guess understandably so), and they threatened him with all manner of legal action. Scary stuff.

Plus blaming Jensen (or more likely, his reps) for protecting his image? Bad form. Even if he *did* sign it personally, I really couldn't blame him. There's being like The Onion, and then there's vaguely observable attempts at humor with teeny tiny disclaimers.
I seriously searched a while to find the disclaimer on the site when I first found it. I really can't blame *any* public figure for taking action against a site that juvenile.
