Toothache Issue Resolved

Quickly, since I'm supposed to be working... thanks, everyone, for your comments on my toothache posts. It turns out, everything is okay. Yay! It was a sesame seed that got wedged under the gum line in the back (I have some kind of "pockets" where my wisdom teeth used to be) and my gums were irritated because there was a foreign object lodged in ( Read more... )

Eep! Curse those pockets left over from wisdom teeth :x Lols and they tell you they should heal up so you don't have them anymore after 2 or so weeks....I think I still have one, myself.

Glad you're okay! What an evil sesame seed >>;

I've had them for years! I don't think they'll ever go away.

I really like sesame seeds, so I'm sad. I'm afraid to eat them now.

Oh my goodness, that's amazing. I am so glad it WAS something relatively simply, and I don't mean it like the receptionist did. ^_~ After all, you did have to go to him for it to be removed.

And what is it with cranky dentist receptionists? Mine was downright rude. Another reason I changed.

I think I'll go brush my teeth right now, ha.

I'm sure the receptionist has to deal with cranky people all the time. It's bound to put anyone in a bad mood after a while. Still, there's really no reason to make someone feel guilty, especailly after I've already seen the dentist. I can't change the appointment after it's over.

My mouth still hurts, though. I thought it would go away by now.

I got your email, but I can't look at it until I get home. :( I'm going to try to leave a little early today, if I can.

I'm glad you're okay.

And that receptionist needs to can it. I had one go all high-and-mighty on me for my appointments, too. D:

Thanks.

Yeah, I don't understand what she has to gain by making me feel bad, especially after it's already a done deal. I'm sure she has to deal with annoying people all the time, and that can put anyone in a bad mood, but saying stuff like that isn't going to change her situation.

But, at this point, as long as my mouth stops hurting, I don't really care.

Was the dentist sexy?! You're too funny! Nooooo... he looks like he spends too much time on the golf course. Not my type at all. ^__^

o.m.g. I didn't know about those pockets. i don't think I have any, but boy does that tweak my OCD! I dunno if I can eat anything now that's not bigger than a marble :-)

I think you're okay. Not everyone has pockets. If your dentist hasn't mentioned them, you're probably fine and can eat what you like.

But I'm kinda feeling like that, too. BIG food sounds a lot better than small right now. I'm making soy chicken nuggets.
