*chews on her fist* Okay... it's impossible to wait until tomorrow, I must read part four right now. Mean cliffhanger... *sniff*

“Stinky?” Julian offered.
My thoughts exactly! *g*

To Julian, it sounded like a purr. To Garak’s ears, it sounded like prayer.
Usually I'm a fan of dark stuff... the darker the better... but your story makes me want to say "awwwwwwwwwwww". that bit is so lovely! Especially considering setting and plot of this fic *awwwwwwws once more*)

>>Dukat
=O OMG! I l♥ve your Dukat. Seriously. He's fantastic. An evil genius. God. Poor Julian (and poor Garak, of course).

Then, like a weird folk dance, the four of them, in perfect synchronization, bobbed their heads slightly from the base of the neck and with each head-bob, took a step backwards, one, two, three, hissing oh-so-quietly, for all the world like they were birds performing some bizarre mating ritual. It lasted only a moment, and it looked like an automatic reaction.
This image was fantastic, just like your characterization actually. It's hard to believe this is your first fic.

Oh, I'm glad that image came across well. I could *so* see it in my mind, but I wasn't sure that I was able to describe it well enough for the reader to get it. The description seemed to take so long; it was actually longer to describe this "bit of business" than it took to play out. It was meant to be this quick, subtle reaction... Anyway, thanks for the feedback!

oh thank the gods I've discovered this after it has been completed - otherwise I'd be going crazy over here right now!

:D

You know, LJ makes you break up long Fics into pieces.... But maybe it makes an effective suspense-builder!
