Oh wow... just wow! This... this is simply made of awesome, from start to finish! It's gonna take me a week to wipe this happy grin off my face!

Where do I start?!

"...For a week! Can you imagine?" Oh Garak, even you can't pull that one off. *smirk* But then again, it just goes to show how he can use his excellent sense of humor to ward off the pity Bashir must think he feels.

"To study those ears to his heart’s content. Even -"
"Suddenly, Garak was seized with a desire to see - "

ARGH! That is torture! Pure and simple! Garak would be proud of you. :oP

“Your pulse is racing. Are you all right?”
*snicker* [Oh yes I'm fine, just hornier than a rampant herd of musthing elephants...]

Just... wow. And again, WOW! Great work as always. Another favorite to my collection. :oD

Oh, whew!

To tell the truth, I was afraid this didn't really have enough "meat" to support itself. Full disclosure: this was inspired by a bit in one of your fics, "Drunk," where Bashir and Garak are playing touchy-feely. This whole thing sprang from the image of Bashir tracing Garak's eyeridges (which he didn't even *do* in "Drunk," but I wanted him to...). A pretty thin premise.

Thanks for your encouraging response!

He does acutally... hehe.

Quote: "The doctor moved in very close and gently traced the ridges around his eyes, along his jawline and up his nose."

There ya go. :oP

But I can't tell you how flattered I am to have inspired you! Wow this makes my day even more. :oD

Yes! I *thought* it was there; I thought it was a direct steal, but when I went back to find it, for attribution in that comment, I guess I skimmed and didn't find it. Anyway, reading that wonderful, hot line lead directly to this fic. Thank you!

Ah, that was so nice. I wish there was more, I know for these 2 there will be more, but sometimes for us voyeurs, just a taste is enough. Mmmmm!

Thank you! I wasn't sure whether to end it here or go on, but when I arrived at this point, it just seemed like an end. Maybe it's just as satisfying to let the readers continue it their own minds....

Thanks!!

Well, this is one story that I very well *might* write a sequel to. Originally I had assumed that the story would continue for the whole week of Bashir's recovery, but in that version, it took the whole week to build up the relationship to the physical level. But, when I actually wrote it (as opposed to imagining it), the dialog took me right to this point, earlier than I thought it would (I guess The Boys were in a hurry!) and then the story seemed to want to stop.

But, of all the stories I've done so far, this one is most likely to be continued. I'll play with the idea. It doesn't seem quite fair to leave Bashir with his eyes still not healed. Besides, I think there's still some fun things to do with this situation... ;)

This made my day: sweet, but not fluffy. Sexy, but not PWP.

I love the part where Bashir quitely rejects the notion of him being too old to love, but yes, very foolish. And catching Garak in the act! But it didn't seem OOC at all, which is all too easy to do. It's rare for Julian to get the upper hand, despite being made of genetically-engineered awesome.

Honestly, darling, you rival the old guard. *glomps* Marry me?

OMG! You are so, so sweeet! Comparing me to the Old Guard! Not at all a valid comparison, of course -- I worship those icons; man, they could *write*! -- but very flattering.

Marry you? Sure! I bet my husband won't mind. We can have one of those Heinlein line marriages. I've always thought those made sense. Who else would understand my fascinating with this fanfic stuff? The guy who keeps asking what the heck I'm doing up til all hours on the computer?? Fat chance! :p

Thank you so much for this -- you really warmed my cockles. :D
