It has started snowing here.  Again.  I am bored of it and I want the sun again (not that we get a great deal of it here)  I am now also on my third cold in as many months - Don't think I'll be doing much fic tonight, even though I really want to get my christmas fic finished, I was on the verge of half killing Abby last night in a nasty incident

I haven't heard of that book, sounds intriguing! I'm sorry about the cold. In 2008 I had eleven colds and pneumonia over the course of one winter. It's from working with the public. *knock on wood*. I've had only one cold since October. That's a new record for me. There's ONE benefit to being unemployed and home a good portion of the time!

I'm busy ficcing away on my Connor!Torture fic. It's going well. He and Abby have just jumped from the frying pan into the fire. Before I start posting my Christmas fics I might try and eek out a little fluffy something. Anything you'd like to see?

I've only discovered Jasper Fforde through Tay, I think you'd like his stuff too. It's set in an AU and she's got a pet dodo *g*

My entire office seems to be ill, there's no fresh air circulating at all, just recycled through the aircon and heating system. Once one person gets ill, you can guarantee everyone else will be within days. Doesnt help when the company policy is not to pay you if you've had more than 3 periods of illness in a year - so I can't be off. :(

I am so looking forward to your torture fic! I wish my muse would play ball, I'm flipping between two fics at the moment, neither of which I actually like very much.

Ok, I'd like you to do a "fix it"... your choice of either the scene in series 1 where Abby is teaching Connor how to flirt - what if the phone didn't ring? or you could do a fix it for series 3, in the mushroom man episode where Connor goes into the lab and he asks her is she's missing him...

Is that the one by Jasper Fforde? I haven't read it but I'm reading The Big Over Easy and I love it. I've got The Fourth Bear next. I love his writing style. May have to check out The Eyre Affair next.(I think he wrote those first anyway) I also heard he's got another Nursery Crime Division mystery coming out soon too.

Thank you, yeah saw on Twitter you've been ill, hope you shake it off soon being ill sucks. I seem to have had one cold after another this year. At least at the moment its "just" a cough and a bit achy, the last cold I had I was a snot monster!

Yes, its Jasper Fforde. Had never heard of him before until Tay recommended him when I said I liked timey wimey stuff. I love the fact there's a character called Jack Schitt too! Epic!

YAY!!!! Oh there's some great stuff in that series. I need to go back and reread them. I had forgotten all about that sequence of events. Hehehehehe. Jasper Fforde is amazing. I can't believe so many people have never heard of him. I love all the tie-ins to great literature. Makes me feel smart. LOL!!

Thank you, I think LOL. I'm tidying up my journal a bit - realised I haven't updated my fic masterlist post since August, so I'm doing that now.

Jasper seems to be a very clever writer, I'm definitely going to look up more of his work

Clever, yes, lots of the characters have cool names. You simply must read the whole series. It's great. He has some spin offs as well, but I haven't read those. I heard they were good though. :-) Glad you're enjoying them.

Poor thing! I'm so sorry you're sick. I'd offer you smut, but the only smut I'm finishing up at the moment is Alice/Hatter. After that, I'll drop a few drabbles on the smut tree to make you feel better. *grins*
