As I've already said "elsewhere" you're very welcome. It was nice to finally get the shove this fic needed to get completed (I'm so pleased that I don't delete anything that I write, it can always be salvaged in some way)

We've often speculated how and when that magic moment occurred when Abby allowed down all her barriers and admitted that not only does she love Connor, she needs him in her life. I think this is one of many possibilities.

As for you wanting a coconut cupcake too... we'll find somewhere in the summer and I will so totally treat you to one ;)

Wow this was just beautiful, evenstar is a very lucky birthday girl :)

My eyes welled up when I realized the significance of the cupcakes, actions can speak louder than words and in this case more powerfully. There is far more than just "I love you" in that little box.

Thank you! The cupcake thing, although a throwaway comment from E when I asked for prompts, was the catalyst I needed to turn something that had been sat on my hard drive for several weeks going nowhere into something worth posting. Weird what it takes to inspire the muses eh?

Aww. That was fantastic. I love Cretaceous fics. Im almost done with one that takes place mostly in the Cretaceous. I love how you write these two. We so need more of that. Abby is so badass in this and Connor is so perfectly Connor. He always has Abby's best interest in mind. I love how sudden her realization was. I think those moments of absolute clarity are often like that, coming upon us when we least expect them.

I would love to one day get to read Connor's reaction/response to his coconut cupcake. Also, did you ever right that shagging against a tree scene? :-P

So loved this. It was a joy to read. :-)
