I'm completely impressed by your vision of Matt's world and how its tiers of society function. I don't imagine there are many people who just get to hang around - everyone has a purpose and a mission. No one has the luxury of time or space to be themselves.

And yet, here's Katie and Matt trying to find just a bit of solace and escape... only to be thwarted so terribly and permanently.

Now Matt can only go forwards and to his fate.

Thank you. I think, up until this point, Matt hasn't actually realised the weight of his task and he's been a somewhat reluctant hero. Losing one of the few things in his life that meant anything to him had turned him from a boy into the man he needs to be now.
