I got a hernia from an abdominal surgery that didn't heal right, while I was pregnant and muscles relaxed it didn't bother me at all. It didn't make my belly look weird or anything. Now that I'm nearly 8 months post partum, it feels bigger than before but it's pretty minor (meaning that it doesnt affect my intestines, only the underlying muscle coming through the upper muscle layer)

I'll have it fixed after I'm done having babies (because the hard mesh they use to fix hernias doesn't stretch for pregnancy).

Depending on the severity, your docs will probably just watch it and you may need one of those pregnancy support belts.

When I'm not pregnant, I wear spanx to hold the muscles right because it can cause pain when I laugh/cough because the muscles tense weirdly.
