So, Its not unusual for men to gain 5 to 10 pounds when their partner is pregnant. And even sympathy pains have their place. But I'd swear that he stole all my symptoms. Mine has had heartburn on many occasions when I do, and he doesn't really suffer from heartburn in general. I think that's about it... :)

This is kinda helariously a deja vu moment, not because i've experienced this (or pregnancy for that matter), but there is a reality show called Pregnant in Heels and this was the topic! there's actually a medical condition that can cause this in men.

My husband gained a ton of weight from sympathy eating when I was pregnant with my first. No symptoms with #2 though.

with my last pregnancy, he gained like 50 pounds lol. he lost it all and then some though. now with this pregnancy, he's all tired all of a sudden. he cracks me up. he's on weight watchers so hopefully he doesn't gain weight with me again. he doesn't like to be overweight and he gets all moody and whiny.
