Show and Tell

I'm only about 6 weeks pregnant with number two, but I already have trouble getting my pants buttoned. I know it's bloating, but still... I'm freaking out a bit. I don't want to tell people that I'm pregnant yet. Luckily at work I wear scrubs so I can pretty easily hide it, but in day to day life ( Read more... )

I was lucky in that I wore a lot of long tops/dresses with leggings anyway. Also, I wore my maternity jeans early but no one knows they're maternity jeans unless you lift up your top!

You can hide maternity jeans and just wear normal tops for awhile.

I hid my pregnancy from people at work until 20 weeks.

Can you wear tights and dresses or tights and skirts?
I found that tights were comforting and also help tuck everything in...

I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow. I've been wearing more skirts (those lovely jersey skirts with fold over waistbands that are stretchy and comfortable) with leggings, got a couple belly bands to go over my unbuttoned/unzipped jeans, and bought a couple pair of maternity cargo pants/capris this weekend that in no way look maternity. I just pair everything with a longer top now and it basically covers everything up. We don't plan on telling until the 2nd trimester, so just a few more weeks.

Thats not always true, just so you know. With my second, I was still in regular jeans until 24 weeks (after that first trimester bloating crap went away). It actually happened sooner with my first because I weighed 50 pounds less with my first. I wore yoga pants or cloth capri's with drawstrings pretty much the whole pregnancy after I finally couldn't button my regular jeans anymore. Never wore a single maternity item either pregnancy.

This! I'm 25 Weeks and I'm still in my real Jeans. Granted I have to fold them over and they're my "fat Jeans" but they still work. Its my second, and I started bigger than I was with my first, but I'm showing less with this one than I did with my son at this point.

Same thing happened with me...when you're heavier, you don't show nearly as soon, even if its not a significant amount.
