I haven't been on this community for quite a while. I currently have two little ones - 3 years and 10 months. Last Friday, I found out I'm pregnant again! It came as a total shock but we are very happy as we love our boys and love being parents so we feel another baby is just another blessing. I am a bit nervous about having them SO close in age.

Fear not! While my kids are spaced too far apart (imho) my sister and I are only 11 months apart! Growing up it was like having a twin. We did everything together and were (and still are) best buds. The good news too, is our Mom got all the being-pregnant-and-giving-birth thing over with at once.

I'm in your club! My DD is 9 months and I just found out my DH and I are expecting #2! I don't know when we got pregnant either but my guess would be that the new little one will come around July/August.

my younger brother and sister are 11 months apart and they played really well together and were like twins. they also ganged up on me and got me into trouble a lot too lol, so yah. not so fun being the oldest w/ 2 sibs being born close together. i was about 4 too, when my sister was born (the youngest) so i wanted to help my mom a lot. so get the older one involved in helping - it'll make it much easier. that's what my mom told me anyway. but my son will be almost 3 when this one is born, so my only experience is with siblings lol. but congratulations :)

I'm about to have my fourth and all are/will be about two years apart. I think there are many great things about having them closer together. My first two (5 and 3yrs) play together well and do everything together. (brother and sister). There haven't been any jealousy issues to this day. I have been so glad about that. Of course there is more work to do since they are all young but my 5 and 3 yr old are able to do many things themselves and keep themselves occupied very well so that my youngest gets to have my attention during this toddleriffic time. Soon the new baby will come and things may get a little hairy for a while, but I trust that a few months to a year later I will be glad we went ahead and kept everyone close in age. I'm sure you will too Congrats!!
