Are your pills scored so that you could cut 'em in half?

I guess I'm mainly afraid of the sedation to the baby people have written about.

:-/ I am sorry that I don't have any experience... hopefully your request to join breastfeeding will get approved soon, they are great over there with regards to drugs and nursing!

Well... That's where you went wrong. =P

Did you come across this? SafeFetus.com.

I'm looking on MotherRisk (which is the Canadian version of InfantRisk, but I'm not really finding anything concrete.)

Hadn't seen that. Now, when it says sedation, does it just mean they get sleepy or is it talking about like... CNS depression sorta thing??

I was given this for my kidney stone pain (8 weeks pp), it was just suggested to me that I take it either immediately before or right after I pumped (I pump exclusively). This way it wouldn't get in be in my system by the next time I pumped. Also I was told that if she did get any in my milk it would make her a little drowsy, but it wasn't harmful. I didn't have any trouble w/ that. I guess 3 weeks pp might be different because you are probably feeding more often.

I was prescribed oxycodone for kidney stones when I was still pregnant. My OB said it was fine for a short period of time and would just make the baby sleepy.
