Glad everything is mostly ok!!

I'd go with the 9w4d. U/S aren't completely accurate and you're only looking at a 3 day difference so it's not too big of a deal. In the event that you go overdue, you'll have an extra 3 days to work with before being hounded to induce.

Like I said in another comment, I'm going to a birthing center so I hope I'm not hounded to induce! ;)

I know sometimes you automatically risk out at 42 weeks, but unfortunately we have no birthing center options around here so that's just what I've heard from other people on here.

Personally I'd go with the u/s unless you know when you ovulated as theLMP date assumes every woman has a regular 28 day cycle with ovulation on day 14. Ifyou ahve a shorter ycles or a longer luetal phase than 14 days, then you may well ovulate on day 11 or 12 of your cycle. U/S before 12 weeks are usually accurate within +/- 2 days.

However if you are at all concerned about pressure to induce for post-dates later down the line, then go with the LMP date as it gives you 3 more days grace.

I had 21 day cycles (UGH!). So I honestly don't know when I'd ovulate based on that.

Seconded, with the caveat that if you know the dates of your last 3-5 periods, you can google for an ovulation calculator, plug the dates in, and get a good idea of whether you're the typical 28 days (I turned out to be), or longer. If you're around the 28 day mark, then you can probably trust the first day of your last period dates.

Yea, stick with your LMP. Ultrasounds fluctuate depending on if the kiddo is having a growth spurt, etc. Using fundal measurements I was measuring a week behind one week and the next week I was a week and a half ahead. Ultrasounds are just as unreliable. Stick with what you know. :)

U/s before 12 weeks are far more accurate than fundal height measurements in later pregnancy. The are usually accurate to within +/-2 days. After than the differences in genetic make-up mean that they become less accurate for dating and may be off by a week.

Oh, no, I never had a fundal measurement until I was 19 or 20 weeks. I was just using it as an example of how quickly they grow and vary.

Eh, i'm another for saying to go with the US date.
Early ultrasounds are really good for determining age. You don't want to use one from your 20 week ultrasound to change your due date though.
