your body only absorbs as much c as it can and then passes the rest. i say take 1-2 tablets about twice a day.

go for it on the tea! celestial seasonings also has a line of caff free teas including lemon, min, ginger, and cinnamon apple which is my fav w/honey!

I don't like the taste of pregnancy tea because it has licorice, but it's fine in terms of contents as long as it's all natural. My crunchy friend gave me Yogi Mother to Be tea, if you like the taste it's fine in terms of contraindications.

I drink the Traditional Medicinals Pregnancy Tea. I get it through the subscribe-and-save feature on amazon.com, because I like to drink 2-3 cups a day. I like the taste, and the herbs in it are supposed to be very nutritious and toning for the uterus, birth canal, etc. I think it actually really is toning - I noticed a marked increase in RLPs and other strange stretching pains and sensations when I started drinking it. It's kind of uncomfortable now, but I'm hoping that it will make labor that much easier later.
