I wouldn't start worrying until 30+ weeks. Even 35+ weeks. There's so much you can do to get baby to turn!

In the meantime, take some prenatal Pilates classes to fix your posture! ;) (Says the Pilates teacher...)

OT to the post, but I've been looking for a pre-natal pilates class in my (relatively small) town, but there isn't one that is specifically pre-natal. Can I rely on your average instructor to know how to modify things, or shall I just stick with my (specifically pre-natal) yoga?

The instructor will know the modifications, but it's still not safe for you to take a regular class. A large chunk of Pilates classes are spent on your back doing ab exercises, which is out during pregnancy. You'd be spending about half the class sitting out, or you'd be holding everyone else back, which isn't fair. Unfortunately I think you're stuck with your prenatal yoga.

That's what I thought. Thanks, though, it's good to know before I go in and find myself doing things I shouldn't!

I'm glad LO is ok! His position may not look comfy to us, but I'll bet it doesn't both him much. He'll move out of it eventually.

You're not hopelessly doomed at all, and bravo for working on correcting your posture! I slump forward (years and years of window seat reading have curved my shoulders) but Kitten makes me very aware of the fact that she does not appreciate being squished. *laugh*

I would call your close friends and let them know before you post on FB. Once you get a hold of them (or at least leave messages), then go ahead and post your happy status. :)

Yes on the panty liners - I found Kotex long ones at Market Basket work well. They're thin too. Also, if you don't need the long kind - Always has little flat ones that are wrapped up that you could carry in your purse with you.

I announced mine over facebook to everyone but our family and close friends, I don't see the problem with it. You don't need to call everyone you know to tell them in person.

I posted on FB the positive test.. after calling my mom. Not a big deal- I already have 2 kids.

At your stage, babies flip all over the place- don't be worried about the position.

I definitely announced to most people via FB. I posted our 9 week ultrasound as a photo. :) We only told immediate family and a few close friends individually, most people found out via the FB post.

Don't worry at all about the position yet. The baby is still moving around SO MUCH until it gets big enough that it starts running out of room. I'm at 26 weeks, and the other night I was woken up by the baby turning from up-and-down to sideways in the middle of the night - it felt like it was rearranging my entire torso in the process! And then by the end of the next day it was back to up-and-down (although I can't tell which end is which).
