I have been in bed since this afternoon with:

sore throat
aches everywhere
fever
nausea

I can't eat much and I can't stop shaking.

Any advice?

I would call the doc in the morning, they might want you to get some IV fluids if you can't drink.

Just keep drinking, water, OJ, anything with electrolytes. Tylenol to kill the fever.

Ouch. I had a VERY rough bout of the flu myself a few weeks ago. When I called in, I was told certain flu-meds were okay, and to lightly partake in tylenol for the fever/aches if needed.

Circumstances are certainly not always the same, but I would absolutely call in and ask!! You'll be able to get information better tailored to you. :)

I'm one to panic, so I'd call my OB tonight. Fever is nothing to mess with.

Def see a doc in the morning, get a flu swab. I had a hellacious sinus infection and my doc said when I saw her that if I got anything the least bit resembling a flu to come in and get swabbed so they can get meds in me ASAP. The earlier you treat, the better.

You want to watch the fever closely. Take Tylenol if it gets over 100.4 (at least I think that's the limit my midwife gave me) and if the Tylenol won't bring it down, call the Dr/Midwife and they will advise whether or not they want you to go to the ER. The Tylenol should take care of the fever, though.
