Ovulation question...

This is my first cycle off mirena so i was a little unsure when i would actually ovulate. Well my husband and I had sex friday night and looks like i am ovulating this morning. soooo my question is, my husband has to work tonight so i wont get to see him. but do you think those little guys are still around today if we had sex on friday? thanks

Sperm can live for up to five days, and the egg is alive for about 24 hours after ovulation. So you generally have a window of about six days when you could potentially get pregnant (though not ALL the sperm will live a full 5 days, so realistically it's most likely to happen when you have sex in the couple of days before you ovulate). So it's definitely possible!

How do you know you are ovulating? Do you feel cramping, or are you doing a BBT? Sometimes you feel like you're ovulating before the egg is actually released. There's definitely a possibility of you getting pregnant from Friday's sperm, but I would try to have sex again asap as well, just in case.

We DTD on Jan 13 and I ovulated the 15... bam, prego! So yes, definitely possible. :)

thanks guys!!! i ended up waiting up for him and we took care of business just to be sure :) so i think our timing was perfect this month :) lets just hope it coincides with God's timing :)
