Could it be a yeast infection? That always makes me itch unbearably. I've never had itching from a UTI.

Either way, sounds so uncomfortable! I hope it's neither and that it clears up ASAP.

PS: Antibiotics can make you more likely to have a yeast infection.

I just googled this and the symptoms and it really does seem to be it. Is there something I can do at home to treat it or just call my Dr? I see him again in 2 days.

My doctor tells me to take 7-day Monistat, but you are a lot farther along than me. I would call your doc...don't wait, those things suck. You don't want this even for just two more days!

Might be totally irrelevant since it sounds like you might have just started anti-biotics but I generally get VERY itchy in my nether regions when I start them but never have a yeast infection or UTI. It might just be a reaction to the meds....

I did start antibiotics on the 23rd. I've used them before in the past for sinus infections. So I am just not sure what is causing it, cause I am eating the suggested yogurt + lots of fluids while on them like I did in the past.

Its just real itchy and annoying. :(

Just having excess moisture down there can make me feel really itchy, and pads keep air from helping out any. I would try the yogurt thing just because cold yogurt feels great on itchy girl parts, and never hurts... but I would also try spending some quality time every day laying spread eagle on your bed (put a towel underneath if you're concerned about leakage) without any panties or anything on. Getting some air circulation around there helps me a lot. (My fiance, BTW, finds this hilarious. Whenever he catches me doing it he says, "Airing out the ol' vah-jay-jay?")
