i was 32w yesterday.. and i looked through the tags a bit and it seems it's not uncommon for the baby to drop around 32w. but is it possible for your bump to look a bit smaller after the baby's dropped ( Read more... )

For sure. Definitely sounds like the baby has dropped.

The bump looks smaller because some of the baby (the head) isn't taking up that space anymore.

Also, you could have not only dropped but the baby could have changed position. Some days I think my baby was curled up more towards my spine and I looked "smaller" and some days she was pushing out haha.

Totally possible.

My second baby dropped the day before he was born (39wks), it was very noticeable and yes, the bump looked smaller.

I've got no picture proof though :)
