I didn't feel my baby move for about 24 hours last week and called my midwife who told me to come over. Everything was fine but for your own peace of mind I would phone my doctor. That's what they're here for! I hope everything is ok.

in a way, i'm in a similar situation. I'm also 32 weeks today (due date twins lol) and my baby definitely dropped. I have a ton more pressure down low as well and i am having serious leg pain and some other things. I looked up the signs of "early signs of labor" and all of this (even the moving less) shows up as signs that our bodies are getting ready for labor. That could mean it's still WEEKS away, but it's just that our bodies are getting ready.

I would call and ask the office nurse to explain to you how to do kick counts and then monitor that for a bit. If she's not moving enough then go in and be seen. I am pretty sure this is all okay but just in case it's not it never hurts to be seen.

Isnt it too soon for them to drop? I just googled of course..

"Lightening: This happens when your baby's head "drops" down into your pelvis. Your belly will suddenly look lower and you'll have an easier time catching breath than you did when your baby was crowding your lungs. The downside, though, is that he's now pressing on bladder, increasing need to urinate. For first-time mothers, lightening usually occurs a few weeks before birth. For veteran moms, it may not happen until labor has begun."

That cant be right? At only 32 weeks? Isnt that too soon? Sorry, first time mom and little freaked out....

i totally posted yesterday asking about him dropping actually lol! I noticed he dropped and i was kinda weirded out because i thought it might mean labor is coming soon. Everyone who replied said it was okay and normal and didn't mean anything. i also did some googling that said it could still mean we're weeks away from delivery. I personally just think that it means that we probably won't go to 40 weeks (which is fine with me lol but i obviously don't want to go TOO early either).

I found that same site while googling this morning and it made me a little nervous too. I have some other symptoms like pain in my back and legs and (tmi) the looser bowels but i'm trying not to worry too much bc stress won't help and honestly, i just feel like things are okay, i don't know why.

here's my post from yesterday if you want to see what everyone said (and i'm a first time mom too so i definitely understand freaking out, i post about everything here lol) http://community.livejournal.com/pregnant/16171167.htmli have a dr appointment on Monday ( ... )
